From The Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce:
The Fredericksburg Regional Chamber is pleased to announce Kyle Allwine has been promoted to Vice President of Membership and Government Affairs. Allwine joined the Chamber staff in July 2017 as the Chamber’s Community Advancement Manager. In that role, he expanded the Chamber’s policy platform significantly. He attracted interns from local educational institutions, which allowed the Chamber to better engage the business community in the area of legislative affairs.
Allwine advanced to Director of Government Affairs in 2019. By this time, he had developed and implemented the Chamber’s Legislative Scorecard and Public Leadership Institute while also elevating the Community Conversations Policy series and the work of RTAC, the Chamber’s transportation committee. Allwine also serves as the program coordinator for Leadership Fredericksburg and he is responsible for management of the Chamber’s marketing and events departments. “Kyle is a talented, mission-aligned, dedicated leader,” said Susan Spears, President & CEO of the Chamber. “He brings innovative ideas to the Chamber and inspires others to new heights. He is the right leader, at the right time, to serve our regional business community as the Chamber’s Vice President.”
Allwine earned his Bachelor of Arts in History and Historic Preservation (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Mary Washington and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Mary Washington.
