For third straight day a Spotsy COVID-19 victim reported

The Rappahannock Area Health District reports the 22nd COVID-19 death in the area. For the third straight day it’s a Spotsylvania resident. A man in his 70’s. Eileen Sousa with the Health District says none of three Spotsylvania cases are connected.

10 Spotsylvania residents have died of COVID-19. The Health District says 18 of the 22 victims in the region have been 60 or older. Statewide, 92% of the COVID-19 deaths have been 60+.

The Health District reports 24 people are hospitalized. There were 25 new coronavirus cases identified since yesterday for a total of 1,930.
