Virginians must wear masks in businesses and public buildings beginning this Friday

by | May 26, 2020 | Health care

Governor Northam says the state will require anyone over the age of 10 to wear a face mask while inside a public building or business establishment. The new guidelines go into effect Friday and apply to any indoor place people congregate, including all brick-and-mortar retail, personal care and grooming businesses. Also included, public transportation and government buildings. The guidelines will be enforced through the Virginia Department of Health and not the criminal justice system.
