THANK YOU to everyone who has nominated a #VA07 Hero so far! We’ve received dozens of deeply inspiring stories about Central Virginians who are going above & beyond to help their communities during uncertain times. Today, I wanted to highlight several of our honorees (more posts to follow):
Maria, owner of Juan More Taco FXBG, has used her business and network of customers to provide dozens of free meals to seniors at home. She’s also delivered meals to the frontline health workers fighting COVID-19 in local hospitals and emergency rooms. Through her own unwavering commitment and her rapid organization of volunteers and donations, Maria has ensured that many of our most vulnerable neighbors do not go hungry.
