From King George Sheriff Steve Dempsey

Today is the last day of my 39 yr. and 7 months career with King George Sheriff’s Office. I’ve had the honor of serving the last 9 years as your Sheriff. I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to the citizens of King George for your support and trusting in me to fulfill in keeping our county a safe place to live, work and raise a family.

God has blessed me with the opportunity to serve King George in the law enforcement capacity and I am extremely grateful.
I truly appreciate all that stopped by on the 13th and to some that left gifts even though you were not supposed to, thank you.
I truly loved my career and I truly love the people I served and served with.

May God continue to Bless you, King George County and King George Sheriff’s Office.
Farewell and I remain yours.
