Berkley District Supervisor Kevin Marshall works in the county’s economic development office. Marshall is excluded from the new rule. Supervisors Yakabouski and McLaughlin voted against grandfathering Marshall. They favored the new rule going into effect December 31, 2021, when Marshall’s term ends.
