From Fredericksburg Police:
The Fredericksburg Police Department is actively investigating an incident involving gunshots fired last night at a residence in the 300-block of Glover Street. At 10:03 p.m., a patrol officer was driving in the area and heard multiple shots fired. Shortly after, the Fredericksburg E-911 Center received a call from a woman who stated her front door was shot multiple times.
No bullets entered the dwelling and no persons were struck. Patrol officers responded and discovered several shell casings in the vicinity of the residence. They proceeded to set up a perimeter around the home and began their investigation while a detective was requested to respond to the incident.
The investigation is active and ongoing. More information will be released as it develops.
