Absentee voting begins statewide today for the November 5th general election. The Virginia Department of Elections says registered voters must meet one of 20 eligibility requirements listed on the ballot application or the state elections website.

Qualified Virginians can stop by their local voter registration office to vote absentee in-person, or just mail the ballot. All General Assembly seats are up for grabs this fall.
