VDOT: Changes to occur Wednesday at the I-95 Thornburg exit

SPOTSYLVANIA: Starting Wednesday, May 1, after the morning rush hour, drivers will be shifted to a new I-95 northbound on-ramp from Rt. 606/Mudd Tavern Road, which includes a different way to enter I-95 north at Exit 118/Thornburg. Eastbound Mudd Tavern Road traffic will have a dedicated right turn lane to go under the bridge to enter I-95 northbound. Westbound will turn left onto Mallard Road and go under the bridge to merge onto I-95 northbound. Check out this new animation from the project team on how traffic will flow after the ramp opens.
