From Jazz4Justice

The fifth annual Jazz4Justice concert, November 3rd, 2018 at 7:30 PM in Dodd Auditorium on the UMW campus, helps two great causes. Half of the proceeds are used for music student scholarships at University of Mary Washington, and the other half supports the mission of Legal Aid Works, a nonprofit law firm which represents low-income clients who face civil legal issues.

Sponsored by the Fredericksburg Area Bar Association and the University, this is a joyous event that features great jazz musicians and a varied program, with a family-friendly ticket price of $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Tickets can be purchased at the door on the night of the event, or can be purchased in advance. Tickets can be purchased online. In-person advanced ticket sales are at the following four locations:

  1. Legal Aid Works, 500 Lafayette Boulevard, Suite 100, Fredericksburg, VA 22401
  2. Roberson’s Music, 1300 Jefferson Davis Highway, Fredericksburg, VA 22401
  3. Creative Music Academy, 7001 Harrison Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22407
  4. Fredericksburg Visitors’ Center, 706 Caroline Street, Fredericksburg, VA 22401

Last year, over five hundred attendees had a great time and helped two great causes at the same time. Because Justice (And Jazz Studies!) Really Should Be For All.
