A Haunting on the Lake
One of central Virginia’s best haunted trails returns for its ninth season with two weekends of terror. Twin Lakes State Park’s Haunting on the Lake takes place Friday and Saturday, Oct. 19, 20, 26 and 27.
Haunted hikes begin each night at 7 p.m. and the last hike starts at 10 p.m. each night. Tickets are $10 per person/per hike and are available in advance at the park office or for purchase the day of at the concession stand near the swimming beach beginning at 7 p.m.

Fall for Twin Lakes Festival
October 20, 2018: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
As leaves begin to change and the weather cools, the park comes alive with this family centered celebration. Activities include hay rides, trick or treating in the campground, bounce house, a pumpkin patch and more. Pumpkins are available for $5. Campers who decorate their site and hand out candy for trick or treating are eligible for a 20% discount on their campsite for Friday and Saturday. More Information.

Caledon Art and Wine Festival
November 3, 2018: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Enjoy a fall day at the park and see area artisans’ finest offerings including wine from local wineries. Commemorative wine glasses are included in the price of a tasting. Enjoy some of the areas best food with your wine while listening to local music at the picnic area. Wagon rides and a live raptor show will be offered throughout the day. Admission for wine-tasting is $15 per person (21 and older – everyone must have ID to taste). The festival is free for non-tasting guests, but a $5 per vehicle parking fee applies to all.
