STAFFORD, VA – The United States Senate Productivity and Quality Award (SPQA) program, will hold its annual Forum for Excellence on September 11 and 12 at the University of Mary Washington’s Stafford Campus.
SPQA is the regional Baldrige Performance Excellence Program, helping organizations throughout Virginia and Washington D.C. achieve outstanding results. At the Forum, leaders from national award winning Baldrige organizations will be presenting about their own organizations’ journeys to excellence. They will share key learnings and best practices which can benefit organizations throughout the Commonwealth and DC.
This year’s speaker lineup includes Robert Fangmeyer, Director of the national Baldrige program; Dr. John Jasinski, President of Northwest Missouri State University; Emily Padula, Chief Strategy Officer for Hill Country Memorial Hospital; Terri Runyan, Performance Excellence Manager for the City of Fort Collins, Colorado; and Stephanie Norling, Director of the national Communities for Excellence program.
In addition to the national heavy hitters, organizations within Virginia and DC which have embarked on their journeys to performance excellence will be sharing their experiences with the audience. And, day one will feature an overview of the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program and how the use of its framework can help almost any organization improve.
