From Stafford County Public Schools
STAFFORD, VA – Stafford County Public Schools is pleased to recognize Leah Hendley of Stafford High School and Jackson Hoit of Brooke Point High School for receiving scholarships from the Apple Federal Credit Union Education Foundation. Each year, the foundation awards scholarships to graduating high school students who are Apple Federal Credit Union members. Scholarships are given for attendance at both four-year and two-year colleges and universities.
Ms. Hendley and Mr. Hoit will each receive $5,000 to attend the college of their choice in the fall. They are among 29 Apple Scholars selected from over 400 applicants. Ms. Hendley plans to attend Germanna Community College and Mr. Hoit will attend Colgate University.
