From Washington Heritage Museums
Thursday, May 3 – Washington Heritage Museums Speaker Series, 10 AM
Central Rappahannock Regional Library, 1201 Caroline Street
Amanda Isaac, Associate Curator at Mount Vernon, will discuss the exciting re-discovery of three rare fine art prints at the Mary Washington House, all with a history in the Washington family. These remarkable mythological and landscape scenes provide a new look at George Washington’s little known role as a collector and promoter of the arts.

Rising Sun Tavern, 1304 Caroline Street
Enjoy a live spring concert by Colonial Fare in honor of Charles Washington’s birthday! Cake will be served. $15 admission includes a tour of the Tavern, birthday cake, and enjoyment of the garden concert at your leisure.
