From Adventure Brewing
Over the past 16 years, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade has become a time-honored tradition among families and fans of craft beer alike in the Fredericksburg area. Adventure Brewing continues the tradition this year, paying homage to the late founder of Blue and Gray, Jeff Fitzpatrick.
The parade will begin at 12 noon March 17th down Main Street in the Bowman Center Business Park, and continue into the property of A. Smith Bowman Distillery for an outdoor festival featuring local small business and non-profit vendors, live music and entertainment, family friendly activities, food by local food trucks, and of course, plenty of beer. Adventure will also be collecting donations for the Fredericksburg Food Bank.
“The parade is such an important part of the Fredericksburg history and we are truly honored to be able to pay tribute to Jeff Fitzpatrick,” said Justin Patishnock, the parade coordinator. “He was an incredible pioneer for the craft beer scene. This occasion is such an amazing way to have a family event that celebrates Jeff and his contributions to all of us.”
