Hundreds Stolen in Shoplifted Goods – Fredericksburg Police Report

Assault:

Sheetz, 2001 Carl D. Silver Parkway, 12/24 6:19 p.m. A male reported being assaulted in the parking lot by an unknown black male. There are no suspects or witnesses at this time.

Burglary/Breaking and Entering:

Fredericksburg Auto Finance, 429 Jefferson Davis Highway, 12/26, 1:30 p.m. Two employees reported noticing several items out of place. A suspect is seen on video footage and described as a black male with a blue backpack and a backwards had that had “USA” printed on it. The subject took two cell phones.

Larceny – Shoplifting:

Wegmans Shoplifting Suspect

Wegmans, 2281 Carl D. Silver Parkway, 12/22, 12 p.m. A loss prevention employee reported a white male subject entered the store and took two slices of pizza and three boxes of crabs totaling $140.00. The subject left the store and was last seen driving a brown pickup truck. The subject is described as a male with short brown hair and a goatee, he was last seen wearing a medium black jacket and dark colored shorts. No suspects at this time.

Burlington Coat Factory, 2060 Plank Road, 12/23, 12:05 p.m. A loss prevention employee reported a black female described as 5’01-5’05 weighing between 180-210 pounds, last seen wearing a camouflage vest, grey shirt, black leggings and boots stole an undisclosed amount of merchandise.

Walmart Shoplifting Suspect

Walmart, 1800 Carl D. Silver Parkway, 12/23, 4:27 p.m. A loss prevention employee reported a white male wearing a gray jacket and blue jeans stole an IPad 32GB. The IPad costs approximately $329.00. The investigation is ongoing.

Larceny:

400 block Crestview way, 12/22, 1:40 p.m. A City resident reported her bicycle was stolen. The bicycle is described as lime green and black. There are no suspects or witnesses at this time.

500 block Jefferson Davis Highway, 12/25, 7:45 p.m. A male reported that he left his suitcase containing clothing, sunglasses, and two backpacks on the Canal Path. There are no suspects or witnesses at this time.

Larceny – Theft from a motor vehicle:

1000 block Wright Court, 12/25, 1:22 p.m. A City resident reported that her unlocked vehicle had been rummaged through. Several items were taken from her vehicle including her wallet which contained personal documents. There are no suspects or witnesses at this time.

1300 block Yates Street, 12/25, 1:30 p.m. A City resident report that his unlocked vehicle had been rummaged through and $60.00-$80.00 was taken. There are no suspects or witnesses at this time.

Vandalism – Motor Vehicle:
200 block William Street, 12/24, 1:40 p.m. A City resident reported a beer bottle was lodged into the rear window of his vehicle. There are no suspects or witnesses at this time.

Walmart, 1800 Carl D. Silver Parkway, 12/26, 3:39 p.m. A female reported that while driving through the parking lot a white male in his 20’s with short black hair, short beard, blue jeans and green sweater hit her car. There was damage left to the vehicle.
