Arrest Made in Recent Larceny – Purse Snatching:
An arrest was made in the larceny/purse snatching that occurred last Friday, September 22nd. Anthony Paul Ray, 18, of Stafford County was arrested on a charge of grand larceny. He was released on an unsecured bond.
Vandalism of Motor Vehicle:
300 block Greystone Court, 9/28, 7:00 a.m. A City resident reported that an unknown person punctured three of her vehicle’s tires. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Vandalism/ Destruction of Property:
1900 block Idlewild Boulevard, 9/28, 8:00 a.m. A City resident reported that an unknown person damaged a light pole in her front yard. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
100 block Springwood Drive, 9/28, 9:30 a.m. A City resident reported that an unknown person spray painted a line across her garage door. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Fredericksburg Brew Exchange, 610 Caroline Street, 9/27, 6:00 a.m. A City resident reported that an unknown person shattered a storefront window. No items were missing. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Shots Fired:
1000 block Great Oaks Lane, 9/27, 10:00 a.m. A City resident reported hearing gunshots fired. Patrol officers and a K-9 handler responded to conduct a track. No bullets were located. No persons or structures were damaged. The investigation is ongoing.
Vandalism of Motor Vehicle:
900 block Hanover Street, 9/28, 9:30 a.m. A City resident reported that an unknown person shattered his vehicle’s windshield. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Vehicle Tampering:
1200 block Jefferson Davis Highway, 9/27, 8:00 p.m. A citizen reported witnessing an unknown black male rummaging through his vehicle. When he approached the male, he took off heading north on Route 1. No items were missing from the vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.
Vandalism:
1300 block Princess Anne Street, 9/27, 7:00 p.m. A City resident reported that an unknown white male pushed over a tree. The suspect is described as a teenager with blonde hair. The investigation is ongoing.
