Stafford Printing has become the first printing company in Virginia to install the HP Indigo 12000, the largest sheetfed digital press in the industry. It is Stafford Printing’s third Indigo in operation, the most in Virginia.
“It’s appropriate that this installation should occur on our 30th anniversary,” said Stafford Printing owner Howard Owen. “The technology updates we are constantly making to our business allow Stafford Printing to accommodate our customer demands for greater quality, faster turnaround and printing on substrates usually found in more expensive processes.”
The 12000 is unique in that its page size is 20×29 inches and is capable of printing on a myriad of papers not normally found in traditional printing businesses. So in addition to printing short run pocket folders, posters and oversized brochures, the press also is capable of printing on a wide array of synthetics.
Stafford Printing is located at 2707 Jefferson Davis Highway, Stafford, and was started by Owen in 1987.
