The Fredericksburg Food Co-op, in cooperation with the Fredericksburg Dept. of Economic Development and Tourism, is conducting a photo contest during the month of July.
Everyone is invited to send their favorite photo of Fredericksburg and what they find “most delicious” about the city. The Fredericksburg Department of Economic Development and Tourism will then select five winners. Each will receive a free membership in the Fredericksburg Food Co-op for themselves or a friend.
The co-op is trying to increase its membership from 451 to 1000. Once it hits 1000, it will open a co-op grocery focussed on healthy local products. Members make a onetime investment of $200 per household. You can find more information on the co-op at www.fredericksburgfoodcoop.com.
