The Fredericksburg Area Association of REALTORS® (FAAR) has partnered with several local non-profit organizations to host a professional clothing drive. The clothing drive will support ProjectLINK, Beauty for Ashes, Empowerhouse, Hope House, and Mary’s Shelter.
Donations of professional and business casual attire, shoes, handbags, jewelry, and maternity clothes will be accepted at the FAAR office throughout the month of May. The public is welcome to drop off donations at FAAR located at 2050 Gordon W. Shelton Blvd., Fredericksburg, VA, 22401 on Monday through Friday, from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
With those donated clothes and other items, FAAR will set up a “boutique” at Lifepoint Church for eligible women to shop so that they may secure a few outfits to encourage their continued success launching a career to support themselves and their families.
