Publix Super Markets has executed a lease on a new store location in Spotsylvania, Virginia.
Publix at Cosner’s Corner, located at the southeast corner of Route 1 and Spotsylvania Parkway, is expected to open in 2018, according to Kim Reynolds, media and community relations manager for the company.
The 49,000-square-foot store will employ about 140 associates.
Publix Super Markets, Inc., commonly known as Publix, is an American company based in Lakeland, Florida, with locations in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, and North Carolina, with plans to expand to Virginia in 2017-18.
