The Fredericksburg Area Museum (FAM) will celebrate its grand reopening on Saturday, April 22, 2017.
The festivities begin with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4 p.m.
At 5 p.m. there will be an exclusive preview hour for Highballs & Hydrangea ticket holders and invited guests only.
At 6 p.m. the Highballs & Hydrangeas party moves to Market Square. Tickets must be purchased in advance, and “are very limited,” according to President and CEO Sara Poore.
Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Feb. 22, on the museum’s website. Cost is $25 for museum members, $50 for non-members.
The museum will have special pricing for membership, also beginning February 22.
The Fredericksburg Area Museum is located at 907 Princess Anne St. in downtown Fredericksburg.
FAM is currently open Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 6 p.m., and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Hours will be extended after the museum’s grand opening, Poore said.
