Sammy T’s restaurant has reopened in downtown Fredericksburg.
“We invite you back to share in the friendship and tradition that are Sammy T’s,” the new owners wrote on Facebook.
The group of long-time Fredericksburg friends — Al and Rena Littek, Ray and Laura Stoner, and Frank and Ana Robinson — decided it was an opportunity too good to pass up. They purchased the popular restaurant, and brightened it up with new seating, new lighting, and a renovated bar. “We’re going to make it a little more of a social gathering place,” Ray said.
The group said they saved all the favorite menu items for the vegetarians, and added new items that include bar snacks, dinner entrees, and Sunday brunch.
Sammy T’s, located at 801 Caroline St., is open 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. daily.
