Germanna Community College (GCC) is hosting two Veterans Day events on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016.
“Please join us in thanking the men and women who have served and are serving this country in the armed forces, as they continue to enrich our campus and surrounding community in so many ways,” said GCC President David Sam.

USMC veterans will celebrate the 241st birthday of the Corps with a cake-cutting ceremony. All Marines are encouraged to attend. The event is open to the entire campus community.

Germanna Presents! Lyceum hosts guest speaker Dr. David Clark, archaeologist and professor at The Catholic University of America and Northern Virginia Community College. His presentation will include his work on the recovery and repatriation of service-members from World War II and the Vietnam War. This presentation is free and open to the public.
