Join Friends of the Rappahannock (FOR) for a Marsh Madness Paddle, Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016. Your ticket includes a kayak, personal flotation device and paddle.
Elysa Mills will lead a discussion on marsh ecology. As the tide comes in, you’ll paddle by kayak into creeks, and observe marsh plants and wildlife.
Meet at Hopyard Landing in King George County at 8 a.m. The trip ends at noon.
The minimum age is 12. The back-up date is the next day. Bring lunch, lots of water and sunscreen.
