Fredericksburg’s 20th annual Soap Box Derby was held Saturday, June 11, 2016. The three champions are:
Caroline Fairbanks, 15, of Spotsylvania, Va., winner of the Super Stock Division
Jackson Pelt, 11, of Stafford, Va., winner of the Stock Division. He was sponsored by Goodall, Pet & Carper P.C.
Maddie Johnson, 18, of Chesterfield, Va., winner of the Masters Division
These champions will compete in the FirstEnergy All-American Soap Box Derby Nationals July 10 – 16 in Akron, Ohio.
Fredericksburg’s Soap Box Derby is cosponsored by Fredericksburg Parent and Family Magazine, Cox, and Fredericksburg Parks, Recreation & Public Facilities.
