Rodin: Evolution of a Genius
Through March 13 at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA)
The exhibit of nearly 200 works by Auguste Rodin — one of the greatest 19th and early 20th century sculptors — is organized by the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and the Musee Rodin in Paris, and features works presented for the first time in the United States. Entry is timed. Tickets are $10 – $15; children six and under are free.

Virginia Wine Expo
Friday through Sunday, Feb. 19 – 21
The ninth annual expo offers tastings of wines, craft beers, whiskeys, ciders, specialty food, artisan burgers, smoked cuisine, and more. See the website for ticket packages and the schedule of events. The expo is at the Greater Richmond Convention Center, 403 N 3rd St., and nearby venues in Richmond.

UMW 25th Annual Step Show and Competition
Saturday, Feb. 20, 7 – 10 p.m.
The University of Mary Washington (UMW) Women of Color and Black Student Association are hosting the 45th annual competition between college and university Greek step teams participate in this high-energy, entertaining competition. The event will be held at UMW in George Washington Hall Dodd Auditorium, 1301 College Ave., Fredericksburg. Admission is $10, $5 with a UMW ID.

Dark Hollow Bluegrass Band – A Benefit for the State Theatre Foundation
Saturday, Feb. 20, 8 – 10:30 p.m.
Dark Hollow Bluegrass Band will perform a benefit concert for Culpeper’s State Theatre. Tickets are $10 through $30, and may be purchased online. Every ticket purchased will be entered into a raffle to win two free tickets each to all three shows in the upcoming Spring 2016 Bluegrass season, a $240 value. Additional raffle tickets may be purchased. Bring in your receipt from any downtown Culpeper restaurant from the day of the show and receive a $1 popcorn or fountain soda. The State Theatre is located at 305 S Main St. in Culpeper.

George Washington’s Birthday Celebration
Sunday, Feb. 21, 12 – 4 p.m.
Celebrate George Washington’s Birthday at Mary Washington House, 1200 Charles St. in downtown Fredericksburg. The $5 admission includes a tour of Mary Washington House and the opportunity to decorate your own cupcake in honor of George’s birthday.

St. George’s Chamber Music Concert
Sunday, Feb. 21, 3 p.m.
The St. George Chamber Orchestra with the Choir of St. George’s, James Kazik, conductor, will present a concert featuring Requiem and Cantique de Jean Racine by Gabriel Faure and Verleih uns Frieden (Grant us Peace) by Felix Mendelssohn. Admission is $10. Children and students are free. St. George’s is located at 905 Princess Anne St. in downtown Fredericksburg,
