The ramp closure will be rescheduled to occur during overnight hours at a future date, VDOT said.
High friction surface treatment will be applied to the ramp as a spot safety enhancement to reduce vehicle skidding and crashes. “This material performs best when applied at ground temperatures of 55 degrees and rising,” VDOT said.
