At Auction Real Estate is holding a public open house preview of an historic downtown Fredericksburg home that will be auctioned in December.
The open house at 401 Hanover St. is from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015.
The 7,500-square-foot, four-level Italianate style brick home was built in 1851. It includes a two-story grand foyer entrance, six bedrooms, 5-full and one-half bath, seven fireplaces, wood floors, and separate kitchens on different levels. The home is registered with the Historic Fredericksburg Foundation.
Behind the house off Charles Street is a cement driveway entrance with space for five cars. “The residential / commercial transition (CT) zoning offers the possibility to utilize the property for business applications,” said Auctioneer Dan Pegelow.
The home is in the estate of Mainette G. Loff. It will be auctioned at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 11.
