Tonight areas of drizzle or freezing drizzle are expected before 9 p.m. It will be cloudy, with a low around 31. The south wind at around 7 m.p.h. will become west after midnight.
Winter Weather Advisory
A winter weather advisory is in effect through 7 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2015, for the Fredericksburg region, including the counties of Spotsylvania, Stafford and King George.
Snow, sleet and freezing rain will alternate in the morning hours, becoming rain or freezing rain after 1 p.m., the National Weather Service predicts. Morning temperatures will be in the 20s, rising to a high near 33 in the afternoon hours. Total daytime ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch is possible. Total daytime sleet accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Rain or freezing rain is likely to continue through 10 p.m., then a chance of rain or freezing drizzle until about 1 a.m. It will be cloudy, with a low around 31.
Monday should be mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 46. Northwest wind at 6 to 13 m.p.h. is expected to gust as high as 20.
Monday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 25.
