FRIDAY, April 25

Kickshaw’s Downtown Market Just Dance Dance Off
7 p.m. at The Center for Faith and Leadership, 1514 College Ave., Fredericksburg.
Free.

University of Mary Washington Philharmonic Orchestra Concert
7:30 p.m. in Dodd Auditorium on the UMW campus.
Tickets are $10 for general admission or $2 for UMW students and faculty, and are available at the Fredericksburg Visitor’s Center, 706 Caroline St. and at the concert.

Fredericksburg Songwriters’ Showcase
8 p.m. in the Picker’s Supply Concert Hall, above 902 Caroline St., Fredericksburg.  The entrance is through the alley in back.
Admission is $10 ($5 kids and students).
SATURDAY, April 26

Fredericksburg Farmers Market
7 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Hurkamp Park at the intersection of Prince Edward and George Streets and the 900 block of Prince Edward Street.

Thrivent Financial Paper Shred

Friends of the Rappahannock Spring River Clean-Up
9 a.m. – 1 p.m. – Check-in at Old Mill Park, 2410 Caroline St., from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. for your assignment.

Tree Fredericksburg Planting Day
9 a.m. – 12 p.m. – Meet at the corner of Caroline and Germania Streets, directly across from the entrance to Old Mill Park, 2410 Caroline St., Fredericksburg.

FAMCC Neighborhood Tours: History of Our Homes on Lower Caroline Street
11:30 a.m. – Meet at the commuter parking lot on the corner of Caroline and Frederick Streets The walking tour lasts about 75 minutes.
Free.

James Monroe Birthday Celebration
1 – 3 p.m. at the James Monroe Museum, 908 Charles St., Fredericksburg.
Cake, punch and period music in the museum garden.  Free.
SUNDAY, April 27
Moss Free Clinic 5K Run / Walk
8:30 a.m. at 1301 Sam Perry Blvd., Fredericksburg
$30 a person, team of five or more, six-years or older $20 per person.

Autism Society of Northern Virginia’s Autism Acceptance Walk
1 – 4 p.m. at the Fredericksburg Fairgrounds, 2400 Airport Ave., Fredericksburg
Gates open at 1 p.m. The opening ceremony is at 1:30 p.m. The walk begins at 2 p.m. and the Sensory Friendly Carnival and Vendor Fair is from 3 to 4 p.m.

Woodland Hike and Gallery Talk at Gari Melchers Home and Studio at Belmont
2 p.m. hike conducted by Virginia Master Naturalists.  Wear sturdy footwear. Meet outside the Visitor Center.
2 p.m. Curator Joanna Catron presents a gallery talk on the important loan “La Brabanconne” from Brown University.
