Fredericksburg City school board adopts revised budget

by | Jun 25, 2024 | ALLFFP, Fredericksburg, Schools & Education

In a special meeting that took less than 20 minutes, the Fredericksburg City School Board on Tuesday adopted a revised fiscal year 2024-25 operating budget in the amount of $59,129,452 with a Special Revenue (Grants) budget of $11,045,852 and a Capital Improvements Budget of $1,250,000.

The motion carried unanimously via a roll call vote, with school board member Molly McFadden (at-large) attending the meeting remotely.

The Fredericksburg City Council previously approved a FY25 schools budget for $59,266,970 during its May 14 meeting. Due to delayed changes in final state funding, City Council will approve a new resolution that matches the School Board Adopted FY2024-25 Budget.
