From 7 a.m., Saturday, June 22, – 7 p.m., Sunday, June 23, CSX will close the railroad and pedestrian crossing on Marine Corps Base Quantico located at Potomac Ave.
Anyone seeking access to the Town of Quantico during this time should use the Gate 3 entrance on Broadway St.
Trucks and large vehicles must use the Henderson Rd. crossing to avoid the overpass on Martin St.
Quantico Town residents, business owners, patrons, Marine Corps Systems Command and Marine Corps University personnel are asked to use Martin St. for their safety.
The temporary closure is part of the ongoing Quantico Station Improvements Project that includes upgrades to the station, pedestrian access and expanded railway.
